SEO Specialist

About This Role

This SEO Specialist role at Redrob AI's Kaabil product involves driving search engine optimization, including AI, app store, and local search. The role requires a candidate with strong technical depth in SEO and a commitment to AI-native workflows, while also ensuring human verification of all AI-generated content. The specialist will be responsible for defining and executing the SEO strategy to improve visibility and performance for the Kaabil career application.

Responsibilities

• Own technical aspects, including crawl and indexation health, sitemap hygiene at scale, intent-mapped redirects, canonicals, Core Web Vitals on every template, and schema that matches actual content
• Implement SEO strategies with one primary keyword per page, chosen based on live SERP checks, ensuring no two pages compete for the same primary term
• Optimize for AEO by ensuring every page opens with a short, direct answer to its main question for AI Overviews or featured snippets
• Implement GEO strategies to get the brand named in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity answers, and measure its presence
• Gate every page before publishing, checking renders, forms, mobile, Core Web Vitals, canonicals, and single H1
• Write briefs for content writers, supported by SERP evidence
• Maintain correct and deliberate AI-crawler access, inclusion settings, and indexing controls for the site
• Conduct competitor and content-gap analysis, comparison pages, and internal linking

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, including at least one site taken from a stated starting point to a stated, quantifiable result
• AI-native working, non-negotiable, with research, briefs, drafts, pre-publish checks, and reporting run inside Claude Code with connected tools
• Strict adherence to AI drafts being human-verified; every statistic and quotation on a live page must be checked before publishing
• Real technical depth, including diagnosing indexation problems, fixing redirect chains, and reading log files
• Ability to read the SERP before trusting a difficulty score and explain its importance
• Comfortable as the only SEO voice in the room and comfortable challenging incorrect numbers

Skills

• Technical SEO: crawling, indexation, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps at scale, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and knowing which schema types still produce a result
• Keyword strategy: intent over volume, recognizing when high-volume terms belong to different audiences
• AEO: answer-first formatting, featured-snippet capture, and understanding why certain pages are selected for AI Overviews
• GEO: knowledge of how LLMs select citations, their retrieval sources, and how to measure presence across separate surfaces without conflation
