SEO Executive/ SEO Specialist

About This Role

This role involves supporting clients to improve keyword rankings, increase website visibility, and boost ROI through effective SEO strategies. It suits a candidate with a strong understanding of technical SEO, web knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in improving keyword rankings, increasing website visibility, and boosting ROI
• Identify technical issues affecting SEO performance and implement solutions promptly
• Understand the concept of SEO-friendly websites and the rationale behind page loading speed
• Coordinate with client-facing teams, writers, and link builders to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals
• Use tools like SEMRush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to analyze and report on performance
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SEO, search engines, and internet marketing

Requirements

• Fresh graduates with SEO internship experience are encouraged to apply
• OR Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record in strategy and execution
• OR Minimum 2 years hands-on SEO technical experience including On-Page and Off-Page optimisation
• Proficiency in using any SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Looker Studio, and any keyword research tools
• Strong analytical skills, good communication, teamwork skills, project management, strong problem-solver, self-disciplined, and motivated
• Open to Malaysian citizens only

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Ads
• Understanding of HTML, Core Web Vitals, and algorithm updates
• Personal SEO case studies or project portfolios with demonstrable performance metrics
• Understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimization)
• Familiarity with schema markup and SEO for e-commerce
