About the role
Brief Summary:
Join a dynamic team where you will lead site coordination and ensure quality implementation of architectural projects. Contribute to maintaining high standards while facilitating smooth progress on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee site coordination with all trades involved.
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials, and Method of Statements (MOS).
- Ensure work aligns with contractual agreements and design specifications.
- Plan architectural works and micro-schedule in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Liaise effectively with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Implement and maintain the Quality Control (QC) plan alongside the Quality and Service Department.
- Procure and monitor related architectural materials.
- Conduct inspections, material testing, and trade demonstrations.
- Ensure the installation of tiles and walls adheres to the setting out plan.
- Verify variations and prepare corresponding back charges.
- Attend subcontractor meetings and ensure compliance with the TOP checklist.
- Manage architectural samples, trade demos, and the review of shop drawings submitted by consultants.
- Update architectural progress using scheduling tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
- Relevant certifications in structural and architectural disciplines (e.g., NCCS, BCSS, Safety, Lifting).
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
- Strong leadership skills to guide subcontractors and maintain project timelines with high-quality outcomes.
- Experience with QM projects and registration as Core trade foreman is preferred.
- Solid understanding of architectural specifications and BCA quality requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Building Information Modelling (BIM).
