This Senior Toxicologist position supports environmental health and toxicology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). The role focuses on applying toxicology and risk assessment principles to evaluate health risks from hazardous chemicals, analyzing metabolic interactions of various contaminants, and supporting the review of toxicological and environmental data from hazardous waste sites. The successful candidate will ensure data quality, provide expert assessments and recommendations on public health impacts, aid in the development of health assessments, and participate in site visits and public meetings to offer technical assistance.
