About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Lead / QA Lead with strong expertise in Playwright with Python, Test Strategy & Planning, API Testing, CI/CD Integration, and Industrial Domain applications. The ideal candidate will lead QA initiatives, drive automation frameworks, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality software delivery in Agile environments.
Role & responsibilities
- Define and execute overall Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Quality Assurance processes.
- Lead a team of QA engineers and drive test automation best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with Python.
- Plan and execute manual, automation, integration, regression, and system testing activities.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate application integrations.
- Execute performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Manage defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, and quality metrics.
- Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Review test cases, automation scripts, and test reports.
- Collaborate with development, product, and release teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Monitor test execution and quality dashboards using reporting and monitoring tools.
- Drive continuous quality improvements and automation coverage enhancements.
Preferred candidate profile
- Industrial Automation / Manufacturing Domain Experience.
- Exposure to Test Reporting and Dashboarding.
- Knowledge of Performance Testing and Security Testing.
- Experience with Cloud and DevOps environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
