About the role
Overview:
Our client is a growing investment and advisory organization is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its expanding tax team. This role will support high-net-worth individuals, families, and related entities by providing tax compliance, planning, and advisory support across complex financial structures.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing sophisticated tax engagements and enjoys working in a client-focused environment with exposure to a variety of individual, fiduciary, and entity tax matters.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax filings for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, S corporations, and other related entities.
- Assist with proactive tax planning strategies and research technical tax matters to support client objectives.
- Analyze financial information, prepare supporting documentation, and develop accurate tax workpapers.
- Research tax issues and communicate findings and recommendations to senior team members and clients.
- Collaborate with internal professionals, advisors, and external partners to support comprehensive client solutions.
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support the development of junior professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 4–6 years of tax experience within public accounting, private client services, wealth management, or a similar environment.
- Strong experience with high-net-worth individual tax compliance.
- Exposure to fiduciary taxation, trusts and estates, gift tax, pass-through entities, or related advisory work preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- CPA license or progress toward CPA preferred.
