We’re Hiring | Senior System Engineer | Ashdod, Israel
Join the advanced development team at ELTA Systems (IAI) – Mesgav Unit, and take part in shaping the next generation of cutting-edge radar and sensor network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the creation of innovative system concepts in radar and multi-sensor networks (optics, EW, acoustics, etc.)
• Drive end-to-end system development – from abstract concept, requirements definition, and system architecture to Proof of Concept, testing, and demonstrations
• Lead and synchronize cross-functional development processes involving multiple system engineering teams
• Perform performance analysis, simulations, and system evaluations
• Work closely with system engineers, algorithm developers, software engineers, and hardware/mechanical teams
• Collaborate with business units to integrate new technologies into ongoing and future projects
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering / Biomedical Engineering or Physics – mandatory
• M.Sc. / Ph.D. – advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering – mandatory
• Proven experience in system design of complex systems integrating hardware and algorithmic processes (radar, intelligence systems, EW systems, or communication systems) – mandatory
• Hands-on experience in performance analysis and simulations (Python, MATLAB, etc.) – mandatory
• Experience leading engineering teams (line or matrix) – advantage
• Broad familiarity with leading-edge technologies in the market
