About the role
Discover your exciting role This role is responsible for supervising and managing on-site installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) activities to ensure systems and equipment meet design specifications and quality standards. The position requires close coordination with contractors, engineers, and consultants to drive system acceptance, resolve deficiencies, and ensure safe operations.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Supervise installation inspections, testing, and commissioning at site; manage NCRs and monitor closure of deficiencies.
- Develop and implement T&C plans, procedures, schedules, and method statements for systems and equipment.
- Participate in reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), O&M manuals, and as-built documentation.
- Manage Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), review functional test data, and coordinate consultant sign-offs.
- Coordinate with project and construction managers and contractors for system testing and documentation.
- Schedule and monitor vendor attendance for critical equipment and complex system packages.
- Ensure availability of required consumables and spares for pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Conduct or participate in safety reviews and hazard mitigation planning with contractors.
- Coordinate with consultants for third-party inspections and certifications.
- Manage punch listing activities and follow up on timely closure of items.
- Manage Lockout & Tagout activities as per approved procedures.
- Attend regular meetings to report on commissioning progress and contractor readiness.
- Prepare progress and forecast reports on construction completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup.
Show Your Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in site testing and commissioning, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Familiar with ITPs, SAT processes, method statements, and O&M documentation.
- Knowledgeable in quality control, NCR handling, and punch list management.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and stakeholders.
- Familiar with safety procedures and risk assessments.
- Willing to work on-site in Northern Taiwan (Taoyuan, Hsinchu).
- Good command of written and spoken English is a plus.
