Serving as the public health expert for MPIH, this role provides technical leadership for strengthening First Referral Units (FRUs) through Regional Resource Training Centres (RRTCs) established at six government medical colleges. The specialist will augment the competencies of FRU doctors through clinical mentoring, support the state in health facility assessment and readiness, and improve EmONC signal functions at designated FRUs. This position also offers technical support across MPIH's public health interventions, with a focus on health equity and gender-responsive care.
