As a
Senior Sourcing Specialist
you will play a key role in developing and executing global sourcing strategies, ensuring supply chain continuity, optimizing total cost of ownership, and driving supplier performance and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth and new product development.

Duties

  • Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships through KPIs and performance reviews
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the supplier base
  • Develop dual/multiple sourcing strategies to mitigate risks
  • Lead RFI/RFP processes and conduct contract negotiations
  • Secure supplier agreements in line with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Support supplier audits and ensure compliance
  • Partner with Procurement, Quality, Operations, and Product Management
  • Support new product development by integrating supplier capabilities
  • Align sourcing strategies with business and manufacturing needs
  • Identify and manage supplier risks (market, financial, geopolitical)
  • Analyze market trends and supplier data to inform sourcing strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain or procurement
  • At least 5 years in strategic sourcing or category management
  • Experience in regulated industries, ideally medical devices
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience working in global, matrix organizations
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~35%)
