Pak Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with at least 2 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications. This role requires a strong command of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and database systems including .NET, Java, PHP, Python, C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Dapper, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and Microsoft SQL Server. The successful candidate will work on optimizing application performance, security, and scalability while solving complex technical challenges. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it demands leadership in technical projects and mentoring junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment and sharing knowledge effectively.
In this dynamic position, the Senior Software Developer applies problem-solving and analytical thinking to design system architecture and database structures that support robust and scalable software solutions. The developer will lead technical projects from concept to deployment, ensuring best practices in coding, security, and performance are adhered to. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to coordinate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement in software development processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality enterprise-level software applications using .NET, Java, PHP, Python, and related frameworks.
- Implement and optimize system architecture to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
- Lead and manage the technical aspects of software development projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code leveraging programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++.
- Design and manage databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies to support application requirements.
- Ensure software security by integrating best practices and performing regular code reviews and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
- Optimize application performance through benchmarking and refactoring to meet enterprise standards.
- Develop and maintain APIs and services using ASP.NET Core, Web API, and other technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple layers of the application stack.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose and implement innovative solutions.
- Document software designs, codebase, and project progress for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and improve code quality.
- Support deployment processes and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines to streamline releases.
