We are building scalable backend services in Java and Scala and need a Senior Software Engineer - Java with Scala to shape reliable, high-throughput systems. Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend systems using Java
- Implement integrations across diverse data sources to keep data flow seamless between components
- Maintain code quality by applying regular refactoring practices
- Manage technical debt within fast-paced development cycles
- Collaborate with large, multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals
- Coordinate with client stakeholders to align on requirements and priorities
- Adapt quickly to evolving project needs and technical requirements
Requirements
- Proven 4-8 years of experience in software engineering
- Hands-on proficiency in Java, Scala, and SQL for backend development and data manipulation
- Solid background in designing and implementing scalable backend systems
- Demonstrated ability to integrate diverse data sources and maintain seamless data flow
- Strong focus on high code quality, including refactoring and technical debt management
- Practical experience working in large, multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with client stakeholders
- High adaptability to rapidly changing project requirements
