Senior Software Engineer

• Minimum of 5 years of professional hands-on experience
• Mastery of modern server side languages, Golang is a plus but not required
• Proficiency with SQL
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure management, preferably AWS
• Experience supporting and mentoring other engineers and acting as a “force multiplier”
• Experience working closely with designers and product managers

What the job involves

• The Partnerships team builds the integrations, partner experiences, and platform foundations that enable the Justworks ecosystem to flourish beyond Justworks’ core capabilities
• We drive growth and retention for our core customer segment while making it easier for customers to unlock more value from Justworks
• Our team owns the public API through which customer data flows into and out of our platform
• We work closely with teams across the business to ensure that the API and MCP experience is as rich and reliable as our UI-driven experience
• Engineers on this team collaborate closely with external partners to deliver seamless integration experiences
• Independently own large-scale projects from technical discovery through launch, with a focus on quick, iterative release and customer impact
• Promote engineering excellence through technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
• Collaborate with external partners to understand integration needs and deliver thoughtful, scalable solutions
• Build and improve platform infrastructure that makes partner integrations faster, safer, and easier to scale
