About the role
We are seeking a Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant to drive the end-to-end execution of allocated data migration areas and objects, serving as a bridge between Global Data Migration Experts and local Data Migration execution business teams to ensure local requirements are accurately captured in conversion workbooks.
Responsibilities
- Act as the deployment wave focal point for data objects in scope for deployment project migration and local data migration activities
- Interact with Business Data Owners (Global, Regional, or Local), deployment Functional Experts, ETL team members, and legacy teams
- Drive migration activities for the deployment project
- Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects
- Prepare and conduct initial verification of DMW load files
- Execute DVT scripts
- Coordinate defect and Hypercare incident resolution for objects under responsibility
- Resolve design defects or escalate them to Global Data Migration Experts
Requirements
- 5+ years of ERP project implementation background
- Experience working with teams globally in an international, matrix-based organization
- Expertise in data migration execution in multi-country / multi-systems environments
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Functional expertise and strong leadership capabilities
- Strategic and hands-on way of working, including running meetings, tracking progress, and managing issues
- Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
- SAP certification in at least one relevant functional area, with hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS
- Knowledge of GxP and CSV
