Senior Risk Program Manager - Fraud & Disputes Enablement

About This Role

Leading programs to ensure readiness for bank charter regulatory requirements is the core of this role, along with overseeing operational performance tracking for fraud and disputes functions. The position suits a program manager with a strong background in risk management and compliance within the fintech industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank Charter Readiness program by translating regulatory expectations into actionable plans owned by appropriate teams.
• Develop and manage programs from initial concept through execution, including defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Maintain audit readiness with up-to-date procedures, documentation, and evidence.
• Coordinate responses to regulator, auditor, and partner-bank inquiries in collaboration with Compliance, Legal, and Operations.
• Oversee goal tracking and reporting for fraud and disputes through operational reviews and dashboards.
• Define and monitor operational health metrics and team objectives to inform leadership decision-making.
• Identify risks early, facilitate trade-offs, and drive decisions to completion across teams.
• Analyze data to detect patterns causing recurring issues and implement sustainable improvements.
• Partner with quality control, learning and development, and operations leaders to address root causes and validate solutions.
• Establish and measure new continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of program management experience in risk, compliance, fraud, disputes, or operations within regulated financial services.
• Direct experience with regulated banking operations, including working with regulators, examiners, auditors, or sponsor banks.
• Proven ability to build and scale programs from ambiguous beginnings to measurable organizational impact.
• At least 2 years managing outsourced operations with focus on governance, SLAs, quality oversight, escalations, and business reviews.
• Strong knowledge of risk operational processes related to fraud and disputes.
• Proficiency with data analysis, metric definition, dashboard creation, and interpretation.
• Experience applying AI and automation to improve work processes, documentation, and reporting.
