About This Role

This contract opportunity is for a talented Senior Research and Development Scientist to formulate and prepare batches of consumer health products and optimize their formulations. The role involves conducting experiments, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a personal care product manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and prepare batches of consumer health products according to established protocols and specifications
• Conduct experiments and trials to optimize formulations and improve product quality
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of batch formulations, processes, and results in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Monitor and evaluate batch quality throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and resolve any discrepancies or product issues
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to streamline processes and enhance product development
• Assist in the development of new products and formulations by conducting research and analyzing market trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in a relevant field
• X+ years of experience in laboratory techniques, formulation development, and quality control methods
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
