Senior Relationship Manager - Business Development
Are you passionate about building long-term client relationships, driving investment sales, and delivering tailored financial solutions?
Capital One Securities (Pvt) Ltd is expanding, and we’re looking for a Relationship Manager to join our growing team. A background in banking will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed monthly individual sales targets while contributing to overall team revenue goals.
- Actively promote and sell the firm’s portfolio of investment banking products and services (e.g., government securities, capital market instruments, debt/equity placements).
- Drive cross-selling opportunities by working closely with internal research, product, and operations teams to deliver tailored investment solutions to clients.
- Demonstrate a leadership mindset by mentoring junior associates and supporting their sales performance when required.
Client Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and expand long-term relationships with institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients.
- Act as the primary relationship manager, ensuring a seamless client experience and high satisfaction.
- Proactively handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and manage feedback to ensure repeat business and retention.
- Develop trust-based advisory relationships to position the firm as the client’s preferred investment partner.
Product Development & Market Insight
- Stay abreast of market dynamics, economic updates, and investor sentiment to identify emerging opportunities.
- Provide market feedback and recommendations to enhance product features, structures, and competitiveness.
- Partner with research and structuring teams to design innovative solutions aligned with evolving client requirements.
Business Development & Channel Expansion
- Represent the firm at client meetings, networking events, and industry forums.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Support marketing and branding efforts to enhance the company’s visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in investment product sales, financial advisory, or investment banking.
- Strong knowledge of capital market instruments, structured products, and investment strategies.
- Demonstrated success in achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets within a competitive financial services environment.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical ability, time management, and multitasking capability under pressure.
