Job Title: Senior Construction Recruiter
Location: Remote (Must be based in Ohio or Michigan)
Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 base + uncapped commission
Position Summary
Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking a Senior Construction Recruiter to drive direct hire recruiting efforts across our Midwest Division. This is a high-impact role for an experienced full-cycle recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and has a proven track record of placing construction leadership and technical professionals.
You'll partner directly with clients, manage high-priority searches, and build long-term relationships with top construction talent throughout Ohio, Michigan, and the surrounding Midwest market. This role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys owning the entire recruiting process and making a measurable impact on business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for direct hire construction positions
- Recruit Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, Estimators, Safety Professionals, BIM/VDC professionals, and other construction leadership roles
- Develop and maintain strong pipelines of passive and active candidates
- Partner with clients to understand hiring needs and provide recruiting strategy
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and industry outreach to identify top talent
- Maintain accurate ATS documentation and recruiting metrics
- Consistently meet and exceed placement and activity goals
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Direct hire construction recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Proven success recruiting professional construction positions
- Strong sourcing, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing multiple searches simultaneously
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must reside in Ohio or Michigan
- Willing to travel 25%
