About the role

Senior Real Estate Leasing Attorney A respected and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its established real estate practice. This opportunity is ideal for a senior attorney who has built a strong leasing practice and is looking to continue working on sophisticated real estate transactions within a collaborative, relationship-driven environment.

The successful candidate will bring at least six years of commercial leasing experience and a genuine interest in making leasing transactions a core focus of their practice. In addition to leasing matters, the role offers exposure to a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing matters.

This position provides the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners while also taking on significant responsibility and client interaction. The firm fosters a supportive culture that encourages professional growth, leadership development, and long-term career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex commercial leasing transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements and related real estate documentation.
  • Advise clients on a variety of landlord and tenant matters.
  • Support real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on transactional real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Previous experience working in a law firm is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of commercial real estate leasing experience.
  • Experience with real estate financings and acquisitions/dispositions is preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sophisticated matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
