About the role
Who We Are The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with a focus on test automation. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans
- Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying and reporting issues and defects
- Work closely with manual testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Participate in the identification and implementation of test automation best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by providing feedback on areas of improvement
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies
What You'll Bring Along
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience within software testing area
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Experience with automated testing tools, such as Playwright, Appium, or similar
- Proven experience in automation testing using Java for web applications and APIs
- Proficient in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven)
- Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze log files, and work with developers to resolve defects
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools
- ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable
- Knowledge of Scrum, Agile is essential
- Good speaking capability in English
