Senior Psychometrician

About This Role

Serving as a psychometric consultant both internally and externally, the Senior Psychometrician leads the design, analysis, and reporting of psychometric studies for pharmaceutical companies. This role suits a dedicated researcher who can proactively engage with project teams, clients, and regulatory authorities, ensuring high-quality research and client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead study design, write psychometric methodology sections of protocols, and review other sections of protocols from a psychometric perspective
• Write Statistical Analysis Plans and prepare associated table shells
• Lead, perform, and/or review psychometric analyses and interpret results
• Lead, write, and/or review psychometric elements of study reports, publications, and other deliverables
• Proactively engage with the project team and client to ensure optimal delivery of the analytical elements of projects
• Act as the project psychometrician with regulatory authorities
• Serve as a psychometric consultant both internally for Adelphi Values and externally
• Monitor developments in psychometric methodology relevant to the Healthcare Analytics practice, and discuss the potential application of these developments to Adelphi Values
• Provide internal and external training on relevant psychometric methodology
• Line manage any assigned team members

Requirements

• Psychometric insight and ability to actively engage with project teams, clients, and regulators to discuss psychometric aspects of projects, and to gain their confidence
• Management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and to lead in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to produce high quality, client-ready documents
• Ability to communicate psychometric concepts appropriately to psychometricians, statisticians, and non-specialists

Important Details

• Schedule: Employees are required to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager
