Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Safety Culture Transformation to lead high-visibility, enterprise-wide initiatives supporting organizational safety priorities and transformation goals. This role will oversee complex programs from strategy and planning through execution, business readiness, change management, and performance measurement.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of senior project/program management experience with a strong background leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives. This person will be responsible for executing the overarching Safety Culture Transformation Roadmap, managing aggressive timelines and interdependencies, and driving stakeholder alignment across all levels of the organization.
What This Person Will Be Working On
- Lead enterprise-wide projects and initiatives with significant safety and organizational impact
- Execute the overarching Safety Culture Transformation Roadmap and related safety strategies
- Develop project objectives, business cases, proposals, plans, schedules, scope, and long-term strategies
- Build and maintain a master enterprise project plan integrating timelines, dependencies, resources, and communication needs
- Lead company-wide cross-functional teams from project inception through completion
- Manage project budgets, scope, schedules, resources, risks, and mitigation plans
- Develop metrics and reporting to measure project performance and drive continuous improvement
- Lead stakeholder meetings, presentations, status updates, and executive-level discussions
- Coordinate business readiness, stakeholder analysis, change interventions, training, and communications
- Drive stakeholder buy-in and project outcomes through influence, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience managing projects, programs, or contracts
- Experience implementing large-scale, enterprise-wide programs and projects
- Strong experience leading cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated project management experience across budget, scope, schedule, resources, risks, and performance reporting
- Experience developing and managing complex project plans, timelines, and interdependencies
- Strong experience with business readiness and organizational change initiatives
- Experience with stakeholder analysis, change interventions, training, and communications
- Proven ability to work with senior management, multiple departments, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder influence, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience developing project metrics and measuring performance
- Ability to prioritize activities, monitor assignments, and hold teams accountable for results
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

- Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
- Project Management certification
- Experience leading safety culture, organizational culture, or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Experience with organizational change management and business transformation
- Experience developing and executing strategic roadmaps

- Experience within a utility or similarly complex enterprise environment
