Senior Project Manager (Product Lifecycle Manager)

About This Role

This senior project manager role drives operational excellence for the Chronic Heart Failure franchise within Abbott's Heart Failure business. You will lead cross-functional teams to manage on-market products from launch through end-of-life, partnering closely with various departments to ensure supply continuity and product optimization. The position involves overseeing critical operations initiatives, including geographic expansions, lifecycle strategy execution, and product performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex cross-functional project teams to drive life cycle strategy execution
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with a focus on supplier performance and risk mitigation
• Manage execution plans for Geographic Expansion and Tier 2/3 country product launches
• Proactively identify and mitigate End-of-Life (EOL) risks and component obsolescence issues
• Implement rigorous project governance aligned with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
• Standardize project execution methodologies to reduce non-conformance events and improve operations
• Build and maintain comprehensive risk registers for on-market manufacturing and engineering changes
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks, milestones, and quality-related outcomes
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, set priorities, allocate tasks, and guide project staff to meet key deliverables and regulatory milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
