Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager / Program Director with 18+ years of overall experience and strong exposure to BFSI, preferably Insurance, to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation, intelligent automation, and AI-driven programs.

The ideal candidate will have 8 - 10+ years of program management experience, strong knowledge of insurance business processes and regulations, and proven experience managing complex transformation initiatives across geographically distributed teams and global stakeholders.

The role will involve driving strategic programs leveraging RPA, Process Mining, Intelligent Document Processing, AI/ML, Generative AI, Conversational AI, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, and workflow automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management & Transformation

• Lead enterprise-scale transformation programs from strategy and planning through implementation and benefits realization.
• Manage multiple transformation initiatives across business and technology functions.
• Define program objectives, scope, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.
• Drive digital transformation, intelligent automation, and AI-driven initiatives across the organization.
• Ensure programs are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Establish program governance, reporting, steering committees, and executive-level communication.
• Identify and proactively manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

Insurance & BFSI Domain

• Apply strong understanding of BFSI and Insurance operations, business processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation across insurance processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and transformation opportunities.
• Ensure technology and automation initiatives align with business requirements, regulatory obligations, and operational controls.

Intelligent Automation & AI

• Lead implementation of intelligent automation and AI-led transformation programs.

• Drive adoption of automation technologies across business processes.

• Oversee initiatives involving:

• Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

• Process Mining

• Task Mining

• Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)

• Workflow Automation

• Process Orchestration

• AI/ML

• Generative AI

• Conversational AI

• Evaluate automation opportunities based on business value, feasibility, complexity, and expected ROI.

• Work with technology teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of automation solutions.

Microsoft Automation Ecosystem

• Drive adoption of Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate for enterprise automation.
• Work with technical teams to develop scalable automation solutions.
• Ensure appropriate governance, security, compliance, and controls around citizen development and automation.
• Explore opportunities to integrate Microsoft automation capabilities with AI and cloud platforms.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Manage geographically distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
• Build strong relationships with global business, technology, operations, and leadership stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior executives and business leaders to establish priorities and transformation roadmaps.
• Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide regular program updates.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Business, IT, Operations, Data, AI, Automation, and Product teams.

Program Governance & Delivery

• Establish robust program governance and delivery frameworks.
• Track program progress against milestones, budgets, resources, risks, and benefits.
• Manage dependencies across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, reporting, and decision-making processes.
• Drive Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies where appropriate.
• Ensure effective change management and adoption across impacted business functions.

Analytics & Reporting

• Leverage Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions to track program performance and business outcomes.

• Establish dashboards and metrics for:

• Program health

• Delivery progress

• Automation benefits

• Cost savings

• Productivity improvements

• Process efficiency

• ROI

• Present program status and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 18+ years of overall professional experience.
• Significant experience within the BFSI sector.
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of Program Management experience leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering intelligent automation, digital transformation, or AI-driven programs.
• Strong understanding of Insurance operations, business processes, and industry regulations.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams and global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience within the Insurance industry.

• PMP certification preferred.

• Agile certifications such as:

• Equivalent Agile certification

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and the broader Microsoft automation ecosystem.
