Senior Planning Manager (Supply Chain)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SCM Planning Manager to lead end-to-end planning operations and drive strategic initiatives across supply chain functions. This role works closely with senior leadership to implement planning strategies, optimize processes, and ensure operational excellence.
You will lead a team of planners, manage key planning activities, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Industrial Engineering or related field preferred)
- At least 3 years managerial experience in supply chain planning (demand, supply, production, inventory)
- At least 3 years of people leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics Axapta, etc.)
- Strong background in manufacturing operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S principles
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the planning team, setting objectives and driving performance

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver strategic initiatives and growth plans

Develop and execute strategies across key areas:
- Supply & demand planning
- Inventory management and control
- Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Production and build planning

Review and approve:
- Forecasts, supply plans, and inventory strategies
- Planning tools, templates, and process improvements
- Short-, mid-, and long-term planning solutions

Ensure effective KPI management, performance tracking, and reporting

Identify risks in supply and demand, and develop mitigation strategies

Ensure supply health visibility (minimum 6-month outlook) and cost-efficient inventory flow

Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, ISO, 5S)

Drive team development, coaching, and capability building

Lead projects and implement process improvements across planning operations
