  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
  • Lead the technical implementation of multiple software products simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Take ownership of system architecture, backend design, database optimization, and API development.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, WebSocket services, background jobs, and microservices where appropriate.
  • Review code submitted by team members and maintain high engineering standards through code reviews and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers through technical discussions, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
  • Break down business requirements into technical solutions and provide accurate development estimations.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of system architecture, APIs, and development workflows.
  • Promote clean code principles, coding standards, testing, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
  • Assist in sprint planning, technical task allocation, and project execution while helping the team meet delivery deadlines.
  • Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, cloud platforms, AI integrations, and modern software development practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4-8 years
  • Education: master of science in computer science and engineering
  • Skills: back-end development, node.js, full-stack development, technical leadership, frontend development, backend development, front-end engineering
