Role Overview
The primary objective of this position is to produce required product in conjunction with team members insuring it is of high quality and is timely.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in numerous C# projects
- Maintenance support of legacy code, including ASP/ASP.Net, MVC, JS, SQL
- Gather and produce requirements and designs
- Write and test code for the required product
- Accurately plan software development activities and follow established processes
- Share knowledge, mentor peers, listen and hear team members’ view points and provide a fair evaluation of differing opinions
- Work productively as part of a software development team
- Have the functional and technical skills and knowledge to do the job at a high level of accomplishment
- Be helpful to others as an expert in some areas
- Communicate effectively with management and with team members
- Perform up to standard independently, self-starting
- Ability to work independently, taking minimal support from others and necessity of guidance or help
- Keep commitments
- Actively participate in discussions regarding technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Over 4 years of C# development, enterprise-class system architecture and design or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
- .NET Framework 4 (C#, ASP.Net)
- .NET Core / Framework 5+
- Good knowledge of SQL is a must
- Demonstrated record of delivering high quality software products to market
- Python - basic level
- Awareness of current technology
- Knowledge of jQuery, knockout.js is optional
- Knowledge of Classic ASP is a plus
- C++ and Containers (Docker) are optional
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to be a successful member of a team
- Good English language skills
- Desire to gain experience with distributed application architecture, interaction with offshore development teams
