Pay Range: CA$45 - CA$46/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build scalable and maintainable applications using Android SDK and modern Android architecture.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces following Material Design principles.
- Work with Jetpack components, including View Model, Live Data, Room, Navigation, and Work Manager.
- Implement modern UI using Jetpack Compose.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into Android applications.
- Work with JSON, authentication, push notifications, and third-party SDK/API integrations.
- Implement MVVM / Clean Architecture and appropriate design patterns.
- Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code.
- Develop unit tests and UI tests and work closely with QA to resolve defects.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, crashes, memory leaks, and other production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ensure applications meet security, performance, scalability, and usability requirements.
- Support application releases through Google Play Store and CI/CD pipelines.
