Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: North Haven, CT
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership and daily manufacturing support for multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and production efficiency.
- Reduce manufacturing costs and improve overall process performance.
- Investigate manufacturing issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) .
- Develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) .
- Support process validation , process development, and equipment improvements.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements .
- Support component qualification and manufacturing process improvements.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and PFMEA principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering , or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering , preferably in medical devices or another regulated industry .
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, and quality systems .
- Experience with RCA, CAPA, process improvement, and cross-functional projects .
- Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience preferred.
