Required Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience including senior level ownership of testing deliverable

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Manual Functional Tester with P&C Life Experience.
• The role will focus on manual and functional testing across P&C and Life insurance billing and payments applications in an Agile delivery environment with integration validation API level testing exposure and Python based automation execution support where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide teams to analyze requirements user stories acceptance criteria and test basis to define effective functional test coverage.
• Design prepares execute and maintain test strategy inputs test plans test scenarios test cases execution plans and supporting test data for billing and payments workflows.
• Validate billing and payments site application touchpoints across PC and Life insurance flows to ensure accuracy business rule alignment and configuration behavior.
• Perform integration testing across Billing and Payments platforms CRM digital platforms third party vendor billing systems and Life insurance platforms.
• Apply Insurance Billing knowledge to validate billing system nuances payment processing behavior data flows and end-to-end scenarios.
• Use Basic SQL Postman API testing and API level validation techniques where applicable to support integration and data checks.
• Execute or extend existing automation suites and Python based automation scripts where applicable without creating new automation frameworks.
• Use Rally or Agile Management tools and participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning backlog refinement daily standups reviews and retrospectives.
• Identify log triage and track defects to closure with clear evidence observations severity priority and retest status.
• Collaborate with business stakeholder’s product owner’s architect’s vendor teams CRM team’s digital team’s development teams and QA peers to clarify scope dependencies risks and readiness.
• Prepare periodic QA reporting test progress updates defect insights risks metrics and escalation inputs for stakeholders.
• Support onsite collaboration from Bloomington when required.

Primary Skills

• Strong hands-on experience as a Manual Functional Tester within PC and Life Insurance domains.
• Functional understanding of Billing and Payments ecosystems including Majesco Billing other PC and Life billing systems Insurance Billing and payment processing applications.
• Experience with integration testing for Billing and Payments platforms CRM digital platforms third party vendor billing systems and Life insurance platforms.
• Ability to review deliverables mentor team members and drive quality improvements across assigned scope.

Secondary Skills

• Understanding of automation frameworks with the ability to execute or extend existing automation suites.
• Working knowledge of Python and PyCharm to understand and execute Python based automation scripts.
• Working knowledge of Rally or Agile Management tools Basic SQL queries Postman API testing Excel API level testing integration validation and SAFe Agile practices.

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to interface professionally with business stakeholder’s product owner’s architect’s vendor teams CRM teams and digital teams.
• Structured problem-solving mindset with attention to detail ownership of assigned outcomes collaboration conflict resolution risk communication and escalation management.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor team members and influence delivery quality across distributed teams.

Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
