Senior Manager, Supply Chain Engineering

Requirements

• Experience leading teams within component quality, supplier quality, hardware quality, reliability engineering, manufacturing quality, or supply chain engineering
• Strong understanding of semiconductor, server, storage, networking, power, thermal, or other high-complexity hardware component quality
• Demonstrated ability to manage suppliers and sub-tier suppliers through containment, failure analysis, RCCA, corrective action validation, and quality improvement
• Strong working knowledge of quality and reliability metrics including DPPM, RPM, AFR, RMA, MTBF, yield, retest rate, failure pareto, and escape risk
• Experience supporting NPI, production ramp, sustaining quality, field failure reduction, supplier escalations, and customer-impacting quality issues
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional problem solving across engineering, manufacturing, test, sourcing, planning, repair, field teams, and external suppliers
• Strong decision-making skills under ambiguity, particularly when quality data is incomplete and product delivery pressure is high
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leaders on risk, impact, recovery plans, and decision tradeoffs
• Experience hiring, developing, and leading engineers in a fast-paced technical organization

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU platforms, rack-scale systems, servers, storage systems, networking infrastructure, or large-scale data center hardware
• Experience managing quality for silicon suppliers and critical component commodities such as GPUs, CPUs, memory, SSDs, NICs, switches, optics, cables, power supplies, PDUs, fans, PCBs, or L6 components
• Experience applying structured RCCA and quality methods including 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, CAPA, DOE, FMEA, SPC, MSA, control plans, and supplier audits
• Experience building a new team, scaling operating cadence, and defining quality ownership across a growing organization
• Six Sigma, CQE, CRE, Lean, or equivalent quality and reliability training
