Job Summary Join a top-tier global biotech leader in Whippany, NJ as a Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Communications. Operating in a flexible hybrid setup, this 1-year contract role leads scientific content strategy, medical review, and cross-functional engagement across key therapeutic portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, review, and dissemination of accurate, evidence-based medical and scientific content for pharmacological and biological products.
  • Serve as the Medical Affairs representative on the Promotional Review Team (PRT) to ensure promotional materials and training assets are scientifically rigorous and compliant.
  • Oversee the development of standardized medical response documents and FAQs to address inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Manage Medical Affairs booth strategy, content, and planning at key medical and scientific conferences.
  • Design and deliver medical training programs for MSLs, Sales Teams, and Customer Care Services.
  • Analyze medical communication metrics and interaction data to generate actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications Required:

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, or PhD) in a life sciences field or equivalent clinical background.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry experience in medical information, drug information, or medical communications.
  • Proven ability to interpret, synthesize, and present complex scientific data, peer-reviewed literature, and clinical guidelines.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, presentation, and medical review capabilities.

Preferred

  • Experience developing scientific training materials for internal field teams.
  • Hands-on experience managing vendor budgets and leading matrix teams.
