About the role
Our client is a listed company with a significant international footprint and operations globally. The organization is seeking an experienced communications professional to support corporate reputation, executive visibility, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications
- Develop and execute corporate communications strategies that enhance brand reputation and corporate visibility.
- Support corporate positioning initiatives and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Draft and review corporate announcements, speeches, press releases, executive messages, and internal communications.
Executive & Leadership Communications
- Partner closely with senior management and leadership team members on communication priorities.
- Prepare keynote speeches, presentation materials, talking points, and media briefing documents for C-suite executives.
- Coordinate communication support for industry conferences, forums, and executive speaking engagements.
Media Relations & Public Affairs
- Build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and Mainland China media.
- Manage media inquiries and proactively identify opportunities for positive media exposure.
- Monitor market developments and provide communications recommendations on emerging issues.
- Coordinate corporate events, industry conferences, executive speaking engagements, and stakeholder meetings.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support engagement activities with industry associations, institutional stakeholders, and government-related bodies.
- Assist in managing communication matters involving Mainland China stakeholders and business partners.
- Coordinate external communication activities to support corporate objectives and board-level requirements.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related disciplines.
- 8 years of relevant experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Media Relations, or Corporate Affairs
- Experience gained from a listed company, or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Mainland China media landscape and stakeholder management.
- Exposure to China government bodies, institutions, trade organizations, or policy-related communication environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
- Strong content writing capability, including speeches, executive communications, corporate reports, and media materials.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and with a high level of energy and professionalism.
