- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, Supply Chain, Information Systems or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in business process improvement, business analytics, project management, operations, finance, strategy or business transformation.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects or business improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with business intelligence, ERP or enterprise reporting systems.
- Retail or other multi-site operating environment experience is an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma, Project Management or similar professional certification is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Process Excellence
- Lead end-to-end review, redesign and improvement of business processes across functions.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, duplication, control issues and opportunities for simplification or automation.
- Facilitate cross-functional process improvement initiatives and ensure alignment among process owners.
- Establish standards for process mapping, documentation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of SOPs, policies, workflows and implementation guidelines.
- Use root-cause analysis and relevant process improvement methodologies to address recurring business issues.
- Work with process owners to define and track the business impact of improvements implemented.
- Support change management and adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.
2. PMO & Strategic Execution
- Establish and maintain a practical governance framework for key strategic and cross-functional initiatives.
- Work with project sponsors and owners to define objectives, scope, milestones, accountabilities and expected business outcomes.
- Track progress against agreed milestones and commitments.
- Identify and escalate risks, delays, dependencies and decisions requiring management intervention.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination to address execution issues and remove roadblocks.
- Provide clear and concise project updates to the Business Unit Head and Executive Committee.
- Track completion and realization of agreed project outcomes and benefits.
- Develop common project management tools, standards and disciplines appropriate to ACE.
3. Business Analytics & Insights
- Lead the development of analytics and insights that support business priorities and management decision-making.
- Work with business leaders to translate business questions and performance issues into meaningful analysis.
- Develop and improve dashboards, scorecards and management reports that provide actionable insights rather than simply report data.
- Identify performance trends, gaps, risks and opportunities across functions.
- Promote consistent definitions and use of key business metrics across the organization.
- Improve data quality, reporting consistency and reliability in partnership with data owners and relevant functions.
- Integrate insights across Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions to provide a broader view of ACE performance.
- Identify opportunities to use automation, AI and advanced analytics to improve decision-making and productivity.
4. Business Partnering
- Establish the analysts as business partners to the functions they support while maintaining their solid-line reporting under Business Performance Management.
- Ensure analysts understand the strategies, priorities, operating realities and key performance drivers of their assigned functions.
- Partner with functional leaders to agree on analytical priorities and required support.
- Balance functional requirements with enterprise priorities and available team capacity.
- Challenge assumptions constructively and provide independent, fact-based perspectives when supported by the data.
- Ensure insights are translated into clear implications, recommendations and actions for the business.
5. Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead and manage the Business Performance Management Team, including:
- Retail Analyst – NCR & Luzon Operations
- Retail Analyst – VISMIN Operations
- Marketing Intelligence Manager
- Inventory Analyst
- Set clear priorities, performance expectations and accountabilities for the team.
- Build common standards and ways of working across analysts who previously operated within different functions.
- Develop team capability in business acumen, analytics, problem-solving, storytelling with data, process improvement and project management.
- Coach team members to move beyond reporting toward insight generation and business problem-solving.
- Build a collaborative team culture focused on business impact, objectivity, continuous improvement and execution.
