About the role
JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established risk management firm seeking a Senior Claims Consultant to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance claims professional with a background in complex and latent liability claims, particularly those involving asbestos, environmental, molestation, pollution, or similar complex casualty exposures.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex latent liability claims throughout the full claims lifecycle, from initial investigation through resolution
- Evaluate coverage and liability, establish and monitor reserves, develop claim strategies, and negotiate settlements
- Manage litigation and work closely with internal and external legal counsel, clients, insurers, and other key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of complex latent liability claims handling experience required
- Experience with asbestos, environmental, pollution, molestation, or similar complex latent liability claims required
