Senior IT Business Analyst - Finance & Dynamics 365

About This Role

Supporting an international retail transformation program, this role focuses on the Finance workstream within a global rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce POS. You will work closely with Finance stakeholders and the POS Squad to ensure country-specific financial, tax, and regulatory requirements are accurately incorporated into the solution and its integrations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document Finance business and functional requirements across international markets
• Act as the Finance functional counterpart to the POS Squad, coordinating requirements and solution validation with business and technical teams
• Analyze local tax, fiscal compliance, receipt, payment, and transaction reconciliation requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Identify gaps between country requirements and the global solution, and support the definition of suitable solutions
• Analyze interfaces and data flows between POS, Finance, and other connected applications
• Support functional testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing to validate business processes and integrations
• Support rollout readiness and maintain clear functional documentation throughout the program

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, or a similar role
• Strong Finance background and understanding of financial processes, including payments, taxation, and transaction reconciliation
• Functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, particularly Finance-related processes
• Experience supporting large international implementations or rollouts across multiple markets
• Experience analyzing system integrations, interfaces, and data flows, with a working understanding of APIs and integration protocols
• Strong requirements documentation skills and experience translating business needs into functional specifications and user stories
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and supporting testing and solution validation
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with business and technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, remote environment
• Fluent English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce, Store Commerce, or POS
• Experience in retail, POS, or e-commerce environments
• Understanding of retail transactions, receipts, promotions, discounts, and payments
• Knowledge of Azure integration capabilities and services
