Summary
The Senior Investor Relations Analyst role will combine core investor relations responsibilities with competitor intelligence gathering and benchmarking, in addition to driving inputs into corporate development / planning on an as needed basis. Success in this role relies on a sound understanding of finance & accounting principles and the Life Sciences industry, in addition to demonstrated experience presenting to C-suite staff and/or public market investors.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and delivers clear, strategic, compelling communications to the investment community including analysts, institutional investors, and the financial press.
- Leads initiatives that shape investor perception and support executive decision-making.
- Specializes in financial communications, competitive intelligence, and regulatory coordination, ensuring the company’s messaging is consistent, transparent, and aligned with corporate strategy.
- Conducts deep research on industry trends, peer performance, and market dynamics to inform leadership and investor messaging.
- Coordinates investor events, analyst conferences, and shareholder meetings, including content development and follow-up.
- Collaborates with SEC Reporting to ensure timely and accurate public disclosures and website postings.
- Prepares investor presentations and executive updates on market conditions, analyst sentiment, and competitive positioning.
- Maintains investor documentation and support trade and industry event communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Post-graduate degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Typically 10+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, FP&A, or related finance leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial performance, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and investor sentiment, translating insights into recommendations for executive leadership.
- Proven experience developing and presenting investor communications, earnings materials, executive presentations, and strategic messaging for senior leaders, analysts, and investors.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, valuation methodologies, public company reporting, and SEC disclosure requirements.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to build credibility and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
