About the role
The firm is a global credit manager with multi-billion dollars of AUM and a platform spanning liquid credit, private credit, structured credit, high yield, distressed, special situations, and CLO equity and debt. Its institutional LP base is established and its performance track record has been exemplary.
The individual coming into this role will take ownership of North American institutional coverage from day one. The role will see close involvement with senior leadership and the investment team on strategy, positioning, and LP communications across both drawdown and liquid/hedge fund structures.
Responsibilities Include:
- Originating, developing, and managing relationships across the full allocator spectrum - pensions, endowments, foundations, insurers, consultants, and family offices
- Running the complete fundraising cycle from first conversation through close and subsequent re-allocations
- Leading roadshows and LP due diligence processes with discipline and consistency
- Driving cross-strategy positioning across both drawdown and liquid and semi-liquid credit vehicles
- Working closely with the investment and marketing teams on collateral, LP communications, and strategic positioning
The ideal candidate will have experience including:
- A demonstrable track record of institutional capital raising in credit or private markets in North America
- Genuine, verifiable relationships with institutional allocators across the US
- The investment literacy to engage credibly with sophisticated LPs on complex credit strategies without reliance on investment team support
- The seniority and judgment to represent the firm at the highest level and operate independently
