About the role
JCW Group has partnered with a specialty insurance carrier to hire a Senior Inland Marine Claims Adjuster for a 4–6 month, fully remote contract assignment. The role will handle complex commercial Inland Marine claims, with a particular focus on Motor Truck Cargo, as well as Builder’s Risk and Contractor’s Equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and adjudicate complex Inland Marine claims
- Analyze coverage, policies, and endorsements
- Establish reserves and negotiate settlements
- Manage litigated claims and coordinate with outside experts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial Inland Marine claims experience
- Strong Motor Truck Cargo experience preferred
- Experience with Builder’s Risk and/or Contractor’s Equipment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- NY General Adjuster license or applicable TX, FL, or CA license preferred
- Ability to work a 40-hour week on Central Time
