Senior Head of Maintenance

About This Role

This senior maintenance role ensures that residents feel at home and staff can work effectively by maintaining clean and well-kept environments. The Senior Head of Maintenance supports homes in their region with resources, products, in-house skills, and contractors to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Support homes in the region with resources, products, in-house skills, and contractors
• Ensure efficient operation of maintenance activities
• Pull together a bank of local contractors
• Discuss budget for refurbishment projects with General Managers
• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere focused on delivering first-class care and support for residents and their families

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience of property maintenance
• At least one trade skill
• Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and training
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships with the maintenance team, General Managers, and external contractors
• Reliable and flexible regarding travel and work hours
• Full UK driving licence
• IT literacy
• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
