About the role

Must have:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • 5+ experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration.
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire Integration Framework.
  • Strong experience with Gosu programming language.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire Data Model and Configuration.
  • Experience with Guidewire APIs and Web Services.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud / Guidewire Cloud Platform is needed.
  • Experience integrating PolicyCenter with BillingCenter and ClaimCenter is needed.

Certificates Required:

  • Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration
  • Guidewire Specialist Certification - InsuranceSuite Integration

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations with internal and external applications.
  • Develop integration solutions using Guidewire Integration Framework, Gosu, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and messaging technologies.
  • Work with Guidewire PolicyCenter APIs and integration patterns to support policy lifecycle processes.
  • Integrate PolicyCenter with systems such as:
    • BillingCenter
    • ClaimCenter
    • Customer/CRM platforms
    • Document management systems
    • Rating engines
    • Payment systems
    • Data warehouses and reporting platforms
    • Third-party vendor applications
  • Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Work with Web Services, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, messaging queues, and event-driven integrations.
  • Configure and develop Guidewire Integration Web Services and APIs.
  • Develop Gosu-based integration components and custom extensions.
  • Participate in integration architecture, technical design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
  • Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration defects and production issues.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, QA teams, DevOps teams, and other Guidewire developers.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire development and integration best practices.
  • Support performance tuning, system scalability, and integration reliability.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
  • Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, and support documentation.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level Guidewire developers and provide technical leadership where required.
