This role involves contributing to all aspects of game development, writing clean, reusable, and optimized code, and solving complex technical problems for games played by millions. Responsibilities
- Contribute to all aspects of game development
- Write clean, reusable, and optimized code to be used by millions of players
- Solve complex technical problems with analytical solutions
- Participate in code-review sessions
Requirements
- Game development experience in Unity and C# (ideally 3+ years of professional experience)
- Ability to profile and optimize performance on Android and iOS
- Ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code and find solutions to technical problems as a team
- Awareness of and ability to leverage industry best practices and solutions and apply the right solution for a given problem
- Capable of driving the implementation of a feature or fix with clear communication to other team members and areas of work, such as Game Design, Art, and Project Management
- Deep knowledge of a fundamental Unity pipeline or tool, such as Asset management, UI, or Networking
- Understanding of mobile gaming industries and their main characteristics, like FPS and LiveOps
- Deep understanding of mobile platforms and their specific requirements
- Strong skills in writing maintainable, scalable, and modular code, with knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and best practices in Unity
- Excellent understanding of software architecture, design, and development
- Strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns
- Eager to search and discuss new technologies
- Analytical, practical problem-solving skills
