Our client NeuralSync is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Karachi, Lahore
We are an AI product company building a consumer application that answers questions about the Quran and Hadith. Every answer is grounded in and cited from verified classical sources rather than generated, which means the engineering behind it has to be genuinely careful.
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own our web product end to end. You will work directly with the founder on a small team, taking features from idea to shipped and making the calls on how something works, how it feels, and when it is ready. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who wants their judgment visible in the product, not one where you are handed specifications. Once the web experience is where we want it, you will
also take our React Native application to the App Store and Google Play.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain our Next.js web application end to end, with a
strong emphasis on usability, performance and polish.
- Turn a sophisticated AI retrieval engine into a product experience that
feels simple and immediate.
- Design and evolve our PostgreSQL schema, including migrations, indexing and
query performance.
- Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines so that
releases are reliable and routine rather than risky.
- Deploy and operate the product on Vercel and Google Cloud, and take
responsibility for it when something breaks.
- Take our React Native and Expo application to the App Store and Google Play
once the web experience is ready.
- Shape product decisions directly with the founder, including what to build,
what to cut, and what "good" means.
- Apply sound system design judgment to keep the codebase simple, secure and
maintainable as it grows.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, slow queries and production
issues, including zero-downtime migration strategies.
- Communicate asynchronously and clearly, keeping work visible in Jira, Linear
or an equivalent tool.
- Set the engineering standards for the team as it grows, including code
quality, review practice and monitoring.
