About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Front-End & BFF Developer to build modern web applications and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services supporting a large transformation program. This role will own the front-end experience while developing APIs and services that connect the UI to backend systems and business capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive, accessible web applications.
- Build BFF services to aggregate APIs and orchestrate backend data.
- Develop reusable UI components, forms, and design patterns.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs, event streams, identity services, analytics, and observability tools.
- Support AI-enabled experiences, workflow automation, and decision-support capabilities.
- Ensure application performance, security, testing, and production reliability.
- Partner with product, design, engineering, and business teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Required / Preferred Skills
- React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
- Node.js / BFF development
- REST APIs and/or GraphQL
- API integration and orchestration
- Automated front-end testing
- Authentication and authorization
- AWS/cloud application experience
- CI/CD and production support
- AI-enabled applications or development tools a plus
- Accessibility, performance, and observability experience preferred
