About the role
Airswift is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to work at Barbados, on a permanent position with a consumer products distribution company.
A professional with a solid understanding of Accounting Principles and all the department's needs, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Operations.
Ideal candidate is residing in Barbados. If we consider a Trinidad or any CARICOM national, must have CSME .
Job Responsibilities Prepare, review, and project monetary financial projections and reconciliations, ensuring accurate month-end closing.
Prepare and manage annual budgets and performance reports.
Manage the year-end audit process, including preparing and coordinating audit schedules, responding to inquiries, and preparing financial projections.
Prepare, review, and process corporate income tax returns, VAT returns, and other legal submissions for compliance and solutions.
Prepare and process accounting entries, including those for joint ventures.
Prepare, review, and approve supplier invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
Provide accurate and timely financial information and support to the management team.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
Job Qualifications ACCA or CPA certification.
Extensive experience in accounting,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
