Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - HVAC with a strong background in Data Center and Mission Critical Facility projects . The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in HVAC design, engineering, and interdisciplinary coordination for large-scale Data Center projects.
• Mandatory Requirement: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center / Mission Critical Facility projects.
• The candidate should have expertise in HVAC design calculations, equipment selection, technical specifications, procurement support, model coordination, and project execution while ensuring compliance with international standards and industry best practices.

Key Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree with 10+ years of overall experience in HVAC Engineering.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data Center / Mission Critical Facility projects .
• Strong experience in HVAC system design for Data Centers, Industrial Facilities, and Critical Environments.
• Expertise in Heat Load Calculations, Airflow Design, Pressure Zoning, Ducting Layouts, Piping Layouts, Equipment Selection, Specifications, BOQ, TBA, and VDR.
• Experience with Data Center cooling solutions such as:
• CRAH Units
• CRAC Units
• Chilled Water Systems
• DX Cooling Systems
• In-Row Cooling Systems
• Precision Air Conditioning Systems

Responsibilities:

• Subject Matter Expert HVAC System
• Work as Discipline lead in project.
• Trouble shooting of critical HVAC Engineering issues.
• Excellent knowledge & working as per International Standards like ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, NFPA, ISPE, WHO, FDA, EU & Leeds Guidelines
• Design Calculations (Heat load calculation), AHU Zoning, Classification & Pressure Zoning, Air flow diagram / PIDs, BOQ, Data sheets, Ducting Layout and Piping Layout
• Good knowledge of Validation Documentations.
• Expert in preparing HVAC layouts/3D model well-coordinated with all services and Utilities.
• Equipment selection like chillers, Hot water generators, Cooling Tower, Pumps, AHUs, Dehumidifiers, Blower, Ducting, Piping, insulation Controls, BMS.
• Procurements documents Enquiry, Tender, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Analysis (TBA).
• Improvement in Discipline capabilities, trainings, standards & Tools. Lead and supervise Engineers / Designers / Modelers.
• Developing and implementing Best Practices of Discipline.
• External coordination with Host / Client/Vendors and Internal coordination with other disciplines.
• Managing Model reviews with Host /Client.
• Mentoring the Engineers, Assistant & Training Engineers with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company.
• Assist Department Manager in day-to-day discipline activities (timesheet, appraisals, escalations, recruitments etc.) and all other activities as assigned by the Manager
