About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director of Environmental, Health & Safety to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.
This senior leader will shape enterprise-wide EHS strategy across a geographically dispersed industrial organization. The role will drive environmental compliance, risk management, and operational discipline while strengthening a culture of accountability. You will partner closely with executive leadership and site teams to improve performance, reduce organizational risk, and advance meaningful sustainability initiatives.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide EHS strategy and execution
- Advocate for environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives
- Develop a culture of accountability and operational discipline
- Drive continuous improvement using data and metrics
- Oversee risk management and compliance programs
- Foster talent development among EHS professionals
- Partner with senior leadership to mitigate enterprise risk
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience
- Significant experience supporting multi-site industrial, manufacturing, transportation, rail, energy, or field service operations
- Demonstrated success improving EHS performance while reducing organizational risk
- Experience leading teams, developing leaders, and driving organizational change
