Senior Digital Transformation PM Consultant

About This Role

This senior consulting role focuses on managing digital transformation projects from conception to implementation within the Volkswagen Group. The position suits a project manager with a strong background in IT and technology-enabled business change, who can creatively solve problems and present solutions across different hierarchical levels and company cultures.

Responsibilities

• Support consulting projects from conception to implementation for digital transformation projects
• Apply project management methods
• Structure content and solve problems creatively and independently
• Present and moderate meetings at different hierarchical levels and across different company cultures
• Work on topics in parallel, including customer projects, internal topics, and business development support

Requirements

• University degree focused on management, economics, engineering, or other quantitative driven academic background
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management consulting or similar area, with relevant digital transformation experience
• Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives, IT projects, and technology-enabled business change
• Experience managing digital transformation programs, bridging business needs with technology solutions
• Strong background in delivering IT and digital transformation projects in complex environments
• Professional experience working at Consulting firms
• Some experience in structure and process analysis for transformation projects
• Mastering Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel) and Teams
• Structured, analytical and data driven mindset
• Good competences in moderation and facilitation of workshops
• Clear and structured communication style, with strong presentation skills, including with client senior management
• Excellent intercultural and teamwork competence
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally (Europe and North America), as well as enjoying the day-to-day consulting dynamics and new challenges
