About the role
- Manage and maintain Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MariaDB database platforms, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Perform database performance tuning, optimization, monitoring, backup/recovery, and capacity management.
- Implement and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, including Oracle Data Guard and SQL Server Always On.
- Ensure databases meet security, vulnerability, compliance, and operational standards.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or similar tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, technical troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards, while providing technical guidance to team members.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
