Senior Data Engineer | SQL | Python | Snowflake | DBT |

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy.
• Develop Python scripts for automation and data processing.
• Build and maintain data models and transformations using DBT.
• Work with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to improve development efficiency.
• Support cloud-based data platforms and orchestration tools such as Airflow, AWS, or GCP.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6-12 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Warehousing projects.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Advanced SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Proficient in Python for data processing, automation, and data validation.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and large-scale data workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.
• Good knowledge of DBT for data modeling, testing, and transformation.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
• Experience working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Candidates with experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) will be preferred.
